Welcome, and thank you for your interest in Cokpit (“Cokpit,” “us,” or “we”) and our on-premises software solution (“Software”). This Privacy Policy outlines the information we may collect, process, and protect within the scope of the on-premises deployment of the Software.

This Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Cokpit End-User License Agreement (EULA). Unless defined otherwise herein, terms in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in the EULA.

Data Collection and Processing
User-Provided Information : The Software may collect and store user credentials and preferences necessary for authentication and configuration within your local environment. We do not collect or process personally identifiable information (PII) beyond the scope required for the Software’s functionality.
System-Generated Data : The Software may generate and store logs for debugging, troubleshooting, and operational integrity purposes. These logs are retained within your local infrastructure and are not transmitted to us.
License Validation : The Software may periodically connect to Cokpit servers to validate licensing. This communication is limited to the transmission of license keys and system identification codes and does not include user data or PII.

Data Security
We take the following measures to safeguard the information processed and retained within your environment:

• The Software is designed to operate within a secure, isolated network environment as controlled by your organization.
• We do not have access to data processed by the Software unless explicitly authorized by you for support or troubleshooting purposes.
• All communications for licensing purposes are encrypted using industry-standard protocols.

 

Additional Information
Data Retention and Disposal : Your organization is solely responsible for managing the retention and deletion of all data processed and stored by the Software. We do not retain copies of your data outside of your environment.
Analytics and Telemetry : The on-premises version of the Software does not transmit usage analytics or telemetry data to Cokpit. Any performance or error monitoring is conducted locally within your infrastructure.
Third-Party Integrations : If your organization integrates the Software with third-party tools or services, you are responsible for reviewing and complying with the privacy practices of those third parties.
Changes to This Privacy Policy : We may periodically update this Privacy Policy. Such updates will be communicated through official channels. Continued use of the Software following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
